Twitter Town Hall

On May 21, Point Foundation will host an #educate2impact Twitter town hall exploring some of the resources available – and the roadblocks to avoid – when seeking financial assistance for college.  Panelists will also discuss the barriers keeping students from a higher education degree and the particular challenges many LGBTQ students face.

Join the conversation on May 21 from noon to 1 p.m. EDT using #aske2i. Follow the chat (even if you don’t have a Twitter handle):

Moderated by Thomas Roberts, host of MSNBC’s “Way Too Early” and contributor to “Morning Joe.”

Panelists include Assistant Director and Student Loan Ombudsman of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Rohit Chopra, Point Alumna Michelle Marzullo, Point Foundation Executive Director & CEO Jorge Valencia and Campus Pride Executive Director Shane Windmeyer.

It’s easy to participate in a Twitter town hall (also called a Twitter chat).  Here are two online guides that show you how: How To #1 & How To #2.
